EVERYTHING WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE OCEAN FLOOR

In the 21st century, we know more about the surface of the Moon than we know about what's under Earth's oceans. It's pretty wild to think about because the Moon is really far away and only a couple of people have ever been there. Lots of people have poked around on the ocean floor. There's STUFF down there. Old stuff. Interesting stuff. Weird stuff. But because we can't easily penetrate deep water with satellite mapping technology, we only have complete maps of the ocean floor to a resolution of about 5 km. Who knows what's down there?
