The easiest compressor there is to build. Although it was made famous by The Doobie Brothers, it's also great for chicken pickin' and getting that "Nashville sound". The orange squeezer is one of the most transparent stompbox compressors out there too. An internal bias pot lets you control how squishy it sounds.
