ELECTRIC EEL

The Electric Eel is a distortion pedal, but using a different methods than most effects. The classic distortion effect (which 99% of pedals do), amplifies the sound and clips the tops and bottoms of the waveform. That works fine for guitar because there is a lot of sound at a high volume. It does not work well at all for drums. Percussive sounds are only loud at the beginning, so they only get distorted at the very beginning of the sound. I set out to make an effect that distorts the entire sound wave.
