The Infinity is a clean boost and a distortion in one unit. The boost and distortion can be used at the same time or one at a time. There is a switch to change the distortion type from vintage to modern. All new models come with LED's to indicate what effects is on. The on/off switch allows you to leave your pedals plugged in if you use batteries. This pedal is like a tone doctor, it is musical and inspiring pedal designed to be interactive with the guitars tone controls and you picking technique. The boost on this unit is what I get all the praise for watch what it does for your tone. Put it before your favorite overdrive and you might never turn it off. This unit has been updated several times and I am very happy with the harmonics and sound of the final version, I am sure you will be too!
