We set out to make a high-gain overdrive pedal that has great tone, huge volume, and some nice crunch. Turn the Gain knob down and you get a nice clean overdrive and because of the huge volume of the pedal you don't have to sacrifice volume. Start turning the Gain knob up and you get a nice crisp, aggressive overdrive. Turning the Gain knob all the way up gets you into distortion territory.
