UNI-DRIVE

In 2015 Jext Telez found two original Univox Uni-Drive pedals- yes, the same holy grail pedal once used by Hendrix and Jimmy Page. Upon hearing the majesty of these originals the mission was clear-- we must remake them and make new ones that sound exactly the same. We combined forces with Detroit wizards Acme Audio and found a huge stash of NOS low gain black button silicon transistors. We removed and measured every component of the original pedal and found the formula (NOTE: the published schematics on the internet are wrong!). We designed our new board, spent weeks measuring out perfect trios of low hFe transistors. We slaved over getting this one right and now proudly present the overdrive flavor of 1970, right now, in 2016.
