PEDALS 73 RAMS HEAD REPLICA
The 73 Rams Head gets its name from the old EHX logo that was on the top of the Big Muffs from this era out of Manhatten, NY. It's most famous user was no doubt David Gilmour who religiously used it with Pink Floyd and his solo recordings. Solo's like Comfortably Numb from The Wall and many more from that time on including Animals, The Final Cut, Momentary Lapse Of Reason, Division Bell and so on. Overall the Rams Head has a bit less gain and a pronounced mid scoop. Our replica uses NPN 5089 Transistors as we found this most friendly with modern power supplies. If you love distortion and/or fuzz, you will find many uses for this extremely classic sound that can only be found in the Rams Head Big Muff.
