This pedal has the best "klone" tone around. Controls are simple - volume / tone / gain. It can be powered either by 9 volt center negative barrel plug adapter or 9 volt battery. The pedal also has a battery on/off mini-toggle switch for those of you who do choose to power the pedal via battery and prefer not to have to unplug from the input jack.
