Sharp and acid, as its name hints. Based on a project of a silicon-transistor Treble Booster, it is powered with 9V in the traditional way, but thanks to an additional circuit it can generate up to 18V, emitting a sharp sound abounding with middle high harmonics and having an immediate attack. If matched to fuzz and distortion pedals, even extreme ones, it increases the general volume level and also cleans up the sound effectively, only backing off the Volume knob on the guitar. It really cuts through the mix, helping the soloists thanks to a good increase in volume and plenty of gain.
