The CHIMAYO is my take on an old classic, The DOD Overdrive Preamp 250 loosely built to vintage “Grey” specifications. GAIN determines the level of distortion. Crank the Volume at low gain settings for soft tube-like distortion. Increase the Gain for full rich distortion with natural harmonic overtones. In a live setting, you can use the CHIMAYO as a Boost to help your leads cut through the mix with added saturation and sustain.
