This pedal has controls for fuzz intensity, output level and a switch to select a high or low tone setting. The low setting works well for bass or downtuned guitar. The high setting has a lot of clarity, but is not unpleasantly harsh. It can be run from a 9v battery or typical Boss style adapter (9v tip negative).
