I made a limited run of this effect to get classic Rory Gallagher tones in a box. It gets close to the classic sound of a Rangemaster overdriving an AC30. It is hugely responsive to the use of your guitars volume knob and picking dynamics - turn down the volume on your guitar to get a light, bright crunch that is perfect for rhythm playing. By turning the guitar volume up you then get a more driven sound, then a distortion that excels for lead lines. Works great with humbuckers as well as single coils. There is a huge volume boost available from it too.
