BLACK MUD

This is a Big Mud designed primarily for bass but works great on guitar too. It is based on several of my Russian style Big Muds like the Red Mud, Red Army Overdrive and the Civil War with more bass and a specially selected hybrid of LED and germanium clipping in both stages. It has a mini toggle for LOW/HI input sensitivity for high gain/active pickups or just to clean things up for high out basses. It also has a mini toggle for flat mid frequency response as favored by bass players.It has a big bottom end similar to my Red Mud but clearer and tighter with less flab especially on the LOW input setting.
