TOE CUTTER

The Toecutter is the Tym pedal based on the original “Bud Box” and THE RAT. Used in the early days by guitarists like Jeff Beck it can be used to give a “metallic” boost if used with the volume on full and the gain dialed up to the volume you like. In the other mode it’s a distortion beast with the distortion right up and the volume to suit. The filter is a very usable (and much copied) tone control that can get you from big heavy to tinny treble in one foul swoop.
